WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – Behind a strong outing from senior Sarah Clark, No. 21 Sun Devil Gymnastics placed second in the first session of the 2024 Pac-12 Gymnastics Championships with a 196.550 on Saturday afternoon at the Maverik Center. The Sun Devils finished sixth once the evening sessions was completed.

Rotation One: Bars, 49.100
Graduate Gracie Reeves started the meet off strong in the lead-off spot with a stuck landing and a 9.850. Scores descended from there until White and Scharf put up back-to-back 9.900s to close out the lineup.
Rotation Two: Beam, 49.175
Similar to bars, sophomore Kayla Lee got the lineup started with a 9.850. Clark shone again, scoring a 9.900 to lead the team on this event. Following a fall, White came through and earned a 9.875.
Rotation Three: Floor, 49.175
Gregoire was the team leader on this event, matching her personal best with a 9.900 in the third spot. Clark in her season debut on floor earned a 9.800 and Kimberly Smith chipped in a solid 9.825. Scharf rebounded from a stumble on beam and picked up the team on floor after a fall before her, scoring a 9.875.
Rotation Four: Vault, 49.100
In her second collegiate vault, Lilia Purler scored a 9.750, matching her other vault, to start and the scores built from there. Reeves stuck her vault for a 9.850. After a slight stumble, Scharf anchored the lineup with a 9.875.
