The meet ended in a 150-150 tie for the Sun Devil Men and Bears Men and will forever be remembered as one of the greatest dual meets in men's swimming history with more to come at the Pac-12 Championships and NCAA Championships.
This came just a day after the Sun Devil Men defeated Stanford for their first home loss since 2020, ending a 12-meet home dual winning streak.
From school-record breaking times to pool records from both programs, here are notes, tweets and digits on some of the accomplishments and records from Saturday's electric meet.
2,541: February 4, 2017 was the last time Sun Devil Men's Swim and Dive tied in a dual meet with in-state rival Arizona, which equals 2,541 days between the two most recent ties in school history.

13: The amount of shakeups on the record board at Cal's Spieker Aquatic Center from both programs. Léon Marchand accounted for pool records in the 200 IM and 100 breast while Hubert Kós took down the 200 back pool record.

19.19: This was the split from Ilya Kharun, who swam the butterfly portion, in the men's 200 medley relay to open the meet. He swam the third leg of this relay after setting a school record in the 200 fly at No. 9 Stanford.

4: Zalan Sarkany broke his own school record in the 1000 free for the third straight meet on Saturday swimming an 8:37.82. His time at California marks the fourth-fastest time in the 1000 free in the NCAA record books.

4:12.45: Sarkany's winning time in the 500 free to sweep the distance events for the Sun Devil men. His time in this event is second fastest on the team this season and ranks fifth-fastest among Division I swimmers for the season.

3: The amount of individual event wins Léon Marchand picked up at Spieker Aquatic Center. He went a perfect 6-0 in individual events in the top-10 dual meets his team competed in over the weekend. He was also a part of the winning 200 free relay to close out the meet. For his efforts, he was named the Pac-12 Men's Swimmer of the Week on January 23.

2: Ilya Kharun swept both butterfly events for the Sun Devil Men. He won the 100 fly with a time of 44.54 and the 200 fly as he swam a time of 1:39.92. He now holds five of the six fastest times in the 100 fly in school history and three of the five fastest times in the 200 fly in school history.

9: Two school records went down over the weekend in the Bay Area, and there were also nine times that entered in the top-10 fastest times for the Sun Devils in school history. The events where this happened include the 500 free, 1000 free, 200 back, 100 breast, 100 fly, 200 fly, 200 IM, 200 free relay and 200 medley relay.
