TEMPE, Ariz. – The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation announced the 2023 All-Academic team which included six Sun Devils receiving the honor of being recognized for their work inside the classroom this year. Overall with a team GPA of 3.75 for the semester including eight Sun Devils who compiled a team GPA of 4.0 or above.

Making the list features two seniors and four juniors, with goalkeeper Itzahiana Baca landing on the list for the third straight time in her career, and Alba Olivé Martí and Luca Petovary have earned their second-consecutive all-academic honor. Olivia Traxler, Tarah Schaffer and Emily Van Zonneveld all earned their first career all-academic honors.

Since 2006, the Maroon and gold have had at least five athletes being named on the All-Academic team in all but one year, bringing the total to 123 Sun Devils all-time on the MPSF All-Academic Team.

The criteria for selection to the MPSF All-Academic team include:
1. 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average.
2. Student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically.
3. Student-athlete must have completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is received.
