TEMPE – Sun Devil Football was unable to keep up with No. 6 Oregon's high powered offense resulting in a 49-13 defeat Saturday afternoon at Mountain America Stadium.
The ASU offense struggled to get into rhythm to open the game, forcing the defense to stay on the field for the majority of the first half, falling behind 42-0 at halftime.
Elijah Badger caught seven receptions for 64 yards, putting him one reception short of entering the top-10 career receptions list, he currently had 142 receptions in his tenure and has 66 this season, four shy of tying a career high. He passed Keith Poole on the Sun Devil career reception list.

Cameron Skattebo started at quarterback for the Sun Devils and found Jalin Conyers for a 31-yard pass on the opening drive. The versatile running back would pass for 58 of the teams 99 passing yards in the opening half.
No. 6 Oregon engineered a 21-0 lead after the first quarter with three touchdowns by Bo Nix. He later would fling three more touchdowns before the end of the half.
The Sun Devils got on the board with a 38-yard Dario Longhetto field-goal and Melquan Stovall rushed for 15-yards for ASU's first touchdown of the game in the fourth quarter. It's also Stovall's first touchdown of the year.
Kieth Abney II snatched an interception in the fourth quarter which contributed to another Longhetto field-goal, this time from 34-yards out.
ASU closes its season Saturday in the battle for the Territorial Cup against No. 19 Arizona at Mountain America Stadium.
5 TO TAKE FIRST SNAP
With Cam Skattebo taking the first snap against Oregon, five Sun Devils have started at quarterback. Jaden Rashada started the first two games but was injured. Trenton Bourguet started vs. Fresno State and then was injured, while Drew Pyne started vs. USC before leaving to injury. Bourguet started the next five before Jalin Conyers took the first snap at UCLA.
