No. 4/2 Sun Devil Men's Golf concluded the 2023 Pac-12 Championship in second, carding a 6-under team card (331-345-359-359=1394/-6) in the event. The host Stanford Cardinal took the win.

The Sun Devils were paced in the event by Preston Summerhays at 2-under 278 (64-65-74-75=278/-2), good for a 12th place finish. Luke Potter and Ryggs Johnston were both even in Sunday's final round, with Potter sprinkling three total birdies with bogey-free, 1-under back-nine.

ASU's second-place finish at the conference championship is its best since the 2021 season, when it was also second. Playing in the first group, the Sun Devils were in fourth place entering the clubhouse, but jumped ahead two spots as the final pairings finished. ASU entered the day in third, moving up one spot in the final round.

Arizona State will look towards the NCAA Regionals, announced Wednesday, May 3 at 10 a.m. MST on the Golf Channel. The regional, regardless of location, will be held May 15-17. ASU won its regional in the 2022 season.

TERRITORIAL CUP POINT ON THE LINE
A Territorial Cup® Series point is on the line at every men's golf Pac-12 championship, as the Sun Devil have had the upper hand recently in the series. ASU has now finished better than Arizona in 14 of the past 17 Pac-12 men's golf championships including this year, missing Territorial Cup Series points only in 2011, 2012 and 2021.
