INDIANAPOLIS – The 2021 NCAA Wrestling Championships Selection Show announced the 10 weight classes that consist of 266 wrestlers that will have a chance to compete for 10 individual titles and one team championship next week in St. Louis, Missouri at Enterprise Center from March 18-20. 

Eight Sun Devil wrestlers will take part in college wrestling's national tournament --- Brandon Courtney (125), Michael McGee (133), Cory Crooks (149), Jacori Teemer (157), Anthony Valencia (165), Trey Munoz (174), Kordell Norfleet (197) and Cohlton Schultz (285). 

Four-time Pac-12 Champion Valencia claimed the second seed in his weight class, the highest seeded Sun Devil in the tournament.

This is the fourth birth for Valencia and Norfleet's third. Joining Courtney and Teemer for their first time at the national tournament are redshirt freshmen Munoz and Schultz.

On Tuesday McGee and Crooks both received their at-large bids from NCAA Division I Wrestling Committee.

Arizona native Crooks will be representing the Sun Devils on the mat in his first national tournament. 

This is the third NCAA appearance for the Old Dominion transfer McGee. His previous two times at the tournament, he wrestled 125lbs. 

Last season Courtney, Teemer, Valencia and Norfleet received bids for the 2020 NCAA Wrestling Tournament before it was canceled due to COVID-19.

149: #31 Cory Crooks vs. #2 Austin O'Connor (UNC) 8-0

157: #11 Jacori Teemer vs. #22 Benjamin Barton (CAMP) 10-2

165: #2 Anthony Valencia vs. #31 David Ferrante (NW) 4-8

174: #20 Trey Munoz vs. #13 Jackson Hemauer (UNCO) 5-2

197: #3 Kordell Norfleet vs. #30 Trey Rogers (HOF) 6-3

285: #4 Cohlton Schultz vs. #29 Jon Spaulding (EDIN) 11-4
