SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – 13 women and 13 men from Sun Devil swimming and diving were named to the Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll the conference announced Tuesday. The 26 ASU selections were second-most in the conference in swimming and diving.
The selection criteria for the honor includes maintaining a cumulative GPA of a 3.3 or above and who has been at their institution for at least one year. The winter sports honor roll includes those from Pac-12 men's and women's basketball, gymnastics, men's and women's swimming and diving, and wrestling.
The 26 Sun Devils range in majors of aerospace engineering to finance. Among those chosen were six first-time eligible sophomores in Cody Bybee, Jack Edgemond, Elijah Warren, Isabella All, Ruby Martin and Lilia Smith.
Several seniors also finished up their Sun Devil careers on a high note in the classroom, with Kendall Dawson, Bentley Hulshof, Chloe Isleta, Silja Kansakoski, Cierra Runge, Aaron Beauchamp, Kevin Benavidez, Nick Carlson, Jackson Etter, Matthew Kint, Jack Kucharczyk, Zach Poti and Youssef Selim all notching the honor.
Juniors round out the list for ASU, with Evan Carlson, Zach Dienstbier, Camryn Curry, Frida Kaellgren, Emma Nordin, Cameron Smith and Caitlyn Wilson rounding out the Sun Devils.
