CORVALLIS, Ore. – With three players earning double-doubles and four in double figures in kills, Arizona State volleyball earned a gritty five-set win (21-25, 25-22, 22-25, 25-18, 15-10) at Oregon State on Friday night, completing the season sweep over OSU for the first time since 2013.

Set One: Oregon State 25, Arizona State 21
The opening frame saw 10 ties total, the two teams battling from start to finish. A 3-0 run from the Beavers made it 10-7 in favor of the home team, but the Sun Devils fought back. ASU scored three in a row to tie it up at 15-15, a run that included a kill and block from Kennedi Boyd. Three-straight for OSU put Arizona State back down, 21-18, forcing a timeout. However, the Beavers closed out the set, winning 25-21.
Set Two: Arizona State 25, Oregon State 22
The Beavers held on to the momentum from the first set, going up 9-4 to start the second. The Sun Devils were able to fight their way back in it, putting together mini runs to cut into the lead. Three in a row started by a kill from Iman Isanovic gave ASU its first lead of the match, 17-16. Arizona State ended the set on a 4-0 run that saw kills from three different players to win 25-22.
Set Three: Oregon State 25, Arizona State 22
Arizona State got down again to start the third set, trailing 13-9 after a 4-0 run for Oregon State. The Sun Devils were able to tie it at 15-15 after a 6-2 run, capped off with a kill from Kovensky. Three-straight points for the Beavers put them up 22-20, forcing a timeout from the Sun Devils. A kill from Isanovic held off one set point, but OSU won it 25-22.
Set Four: Arizona State 25, Oregon State 18
The Sun Devils came out strong in the fourth set. The score was close until the block started clicking. Boyd and Isanovic had two blocks together to spark ASU on a 7-2 run to go up 13-9, forcing a timeout from OSU. The Sun Devils never looked back, cruising to a 25-18 win to force a fifth set. Mitrovic was on fire in the fourth, earning five kills.
Set Five: Arizona State 15, Oregon State 10
Holding onto the momentum from the fourth, the Sun Devils led the entire set to win 15-10, taking the match. A block from Boyd and Isanovic gave ASU the 8-5 edge at the switch. Arizona State finished the set on a 3-0 run, capped off by a kill from Mitrovic.

Notable Stats
- Arizona State (14-12, 6-9 Pac-12) snapped the four-match losing streak with a five-set thriller at Oregon State (9-17, 3-12 Pac-12). ASU out-blocked OSU 12.0 to 4.0.
- The last time ASU swept the season series against Oregon State was in 2013, when they won in three at home and in four on the road. Earlier this season, Arizona State swept OSU in Tempe.
- Arizona State has earned the most Pac-12 wins since 2015 and has equaled its win total from last year.
- The Sun Devils improve to 5-3 in five-set matches, 3-2 in conference five-set matches. ASU has played in eight five-set matches, the most since 2014 when there were 14.
- Four Sun Devils reached double figures in kills, led by junior outside hitter Claire Kovensky with 15.
- Kovensky earned a double-double for the first time this season with 15 kills and a season-high 13 digs. She had three last season, the last one coming against USC on November 18, 2018.
- Ivana Jeremic, Andrea Mitrovic and Iman Isanovic also all reached double figures in kills with 14, 11 and 10, respectively. Jeremic had a double-double with 11 digs as well.
- Jeremic upped her career kill total to 999, just one away from 1,000 in her collegiate career.
- Senior libero Courtney Leffel had 23 digs, her 13th match this season with 20 or more digs.
- Freshman Kennedi Boyd had a career-high seven blocks in the win. She also tied her career high in kills with seven.
- Senior setters Callie Jones and Nicole Peterson paced the offense with 23 and 21 assists, respectively. Jones had a double-double with 10 digs, her fifth of the year.
