TEMPE, Ariz. – The No. 4 Sun Devil wrestling team welcomes all to come out and catch the team in its first action of the season, Friday, Nov. 1 at 6 p.m. The annual Maroon and Gold Intrasquad will take place at Desert Financial Arena and is free to the public. The match will be streamed via ASU Live Stream.

Friday night's matchups will include 10 bouts, giving fans a look at the projected starters at each weight class for the coming season. Familiar faces will take the sidelines as guest coaches for the scrimmage, as 2011 national champion Anthony Robles will coach team Maroon and two-time All-American Brian Stith will coach team Gold.

The Sun Devils return a veteran lineup for the upcoming season, as Zeke Jones' first recruiting class from 2015 will compete in its final season together. A part of that class, includes two-time national champion Zahid Valencia, All-Americans Josh Shields and Tanner Hall, and Pac-12 champions Anthony Valencia and Josh Maruca. The lineup will also feature 2018 Pac-12 champion Kordell Norfleet and 2017 Cadet World Team bronze medalist Jacori Teemer in his first season after redshirting last year.
 

ASU will host six home duals in the 2019-20 season, featuring a top-five matchup against reigning national champion Penn State at Desert Financial Arena on Nov. 22 (7 p.m. MST). Following a matchup with the Nittany Lions, the Devils will take on six more teams that finished in the top-20 at the 2019 NCAA Championships, including national runner-up Ohio State.
