@SunDevilMGolf finished the final round of the Arizona Intercollegiate in second place on Tuesday at the Sewailo Golf Club (par 71/7,292 yards) in Tucson. The Sun Devils only trailed host Arizona by three strokes and were 13 strokes ahead third-place St. Mary's.
Both Chun An Yu and Cameron Sisk finished 9-under and tied for fifth. Sisk, a freshman, posted his first top-five finish as a Sun Devil. This is Chun An Yu's second top-five finish of the season after placing second at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate in the fall. The junior has now posted seven top-five finishes in his three years at ASU including individual medals at the 2018 Bandon Dunes Championship and the 2017 NIT Invitational. Rounding out the Sun Devil lineup were Blake Wagoner, Mason Andersen, and Koichiro Ishika, who all finished tied for 16th at 5-under. Chandler Phillips of Texas A&M took home the individual medal finishing 19-under.
Arizona State also had an impressive showing at the Arizona Medalist, an individual tournament taking place simultaneously at Randolph Park in Tucson. ASU took four of the top six spots, as senior Jino Sohn and freshman James Leow finished tied for first at 13-under. Not far behind was Alex del Rey tied for third at 10-under and Won Jun Lee tied for fifth at 7-under.Team scores by round in the five events so far this season (all used five-count-four format):
