--Tied for medalist honors at the 2016 Alister MacKenzie Invitational (Oct. 10-11) with a 15-under 198 (66-64-68). He had 37 pars, 13 birdies and two eagles.

--Opened 2016-17 season in strong fashion at the 2016 Olympia Fields Country Club/Fighting Illini Invitational. He tied for second and was the only player in the 78-player field to go 4-under on the par-3 holes. He posted 13 birdies, tied for second-most in the field, and shot a 1-under 209 (67-73-69).

--Entered senior year of 2016-17 with 23 career tournaments and 70 career collegiate rounds of exeprience, including 10 rounds in the 60s.

--Shot a career-low 66 in the second round of the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational in his sophomore season and recorded five top-20 finishes (2014-15) as he averaged 72.44 through 11 tournaments. Also had five eagles.

--Shot season-low 67 in the first round of the ASU Thunderbird Invitational in his freshman season, where he tied for 11th. Averaged 73.83 in six tournaments.

--La Quinta (Calif.) High School product was ranked as high as No. 13 in his signing class.

--Won the 2012 Golfweek West Coast Junior Invitational at Whirlwind in Chandler, Ariz. and tied for seventh at the 2011 Callaway Junior Worlds.

--Born in South Korea and started playing golf at age seven. Family moved to Vancouver at age nine and he competed in Maple Leaf Junior Tour, Canadiean Junior Golf Assocation and CN Future Links.

--Moved to LaQuinta and competed in AJGA, SCPGA Junior Tour and Toyota Cup Tour.

--Earned way into the Callaway Junior World Golf Championship and finished first in 13-14 age group. Earned MVP honors of his league and won CIF Regional individual honors.

--Awarded the Palms G.G. Marcy Hyman Scholarship in 2010, given to individual with outstanding integrity and character.

--Signed with Arizona State in November of 2012.

Masters

The best round of my life was: 12-under 60 at Morongo Golf Club in 2009.

The main reasons I picked Arizona State: tradition, atmosphere and program.

What is your favorite golf course you have ever played? Palms Golf Club in La Quinta, Calif.

What is the one golf course you have not played but want to? Augusta.

One word to describe Arizona State golf: gentlemen.

What did like best about your hometown? There are golf courses on every block.

A movie you have watched more than once and will watch again: Fast and Furious.
