TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State gymnastics has added six to the 2020 roster after they signed their National Letters of Intent (NLI).

"We are very excited to announce and welcome this class of student-athletes to our Sun Devil family," Arizona State head coach Jay Santos said. "They bring a tremendous amount of competitive success and collectively they will help us continue to build a championship program. Each athlete in this class caught our attention with their work ethic and beautiful gymnastics. As an added bonus, they are terrific students, and we anticipate that they will make a big impact on the program in the coming years."

The Sun Devils will welcome Juliette Boyer, Jordyn Jaslow, Alina Miller, Gracie Reeves, Isabel Redmond and Hannah Scharf. Each newcomer hails from a different part of the world, from the west coast to the east coast and up to Canada.

Juliette Boyer | San Mateo Gymnastics | Daly City, Calif.
The California native is a two-time JO National Championships qualifier and 2018 NorCal State All-Around Champion.

  • 2018 NorCal State Championships - 1st, 38.450
    • First on bars (9.625), beam (9.650) and floor (9.625)
  • 2017 JO National Championships qualifier - T28th, 37.050
  • 2017 Region 1 Championships - 4th, 38.225
  • 2017 NorCal State Championships - 3rd, 37.250
    • First on bars (9.375) and floor (9.525)

Santos: "Juliette has such a great work ethic and that really drew us to her. She has improved tremendously over the last two years and we were impressed by her competitiveness last season. She has such clean form and technical gymnastics that will really help her stand out across all four events."

Jordyn Jaslow | Colorado Gymnastics Institute | Parker, Colo.
Two-time JO nationals qualifier, Jaslow finished first and second in the 2016 and 2018 Colorado state championships, respectively.

  • 2018 Colorado State Championships - 2nd, 38.275

  • 2017 Colorado State Championships - 4th, 36.650
    • First on floor (9.450)
  • 2016 Colorado State Championship - 1st, 36.950
    • First on beam (9.325) and floor (9.650)

Santos: "Jordyn has an infectious and positive personality to go along with very strong gymnastics. She has a terrific mix of power and grace to her gymnastics that I think will lead to great success in NCAA gymnastics."

Alina Miller | Perfection Gymnastics | West Chester, Ohio
Miller competed in the Ohio State Championships in 2018 and 2017, earning strong scores in each year.

Gymnastics achievements:

  • 2018 Ohio State Championships - 11th, 33.600
  • 2017 State Vault (9.350) and Bar (9.625) Champion

Santos: "Alina will be a great asset to the program and give us added depth at three events. She has a strong collegiate skill level on vault, bars and floor and we think she has great potential to help this program succeed."

Gracie Reeves | Arizona Sunrays | Phoenix, Ariz.
A local product, Reeve has qualified for JO Nationals twice, both in 2018 and 2017. She has also found success on the state level, finishing in the top three in 2018 and 2017.

  • 2018 Arizona Optional State Championships - 2nd, 38.350

  • 2018 Fiesta Bowl Nat'l Qualifier - 2nd, 38.050
  • First on vault (9.625)
  • 2017 JO National Championships- 13th, 37.450
  • 2017 Region 1 Championships - 6th, 38.000
  • 2017 Arizona Optional State Championships - 3rd, 37.70
  • 2015 Region 1 Championships - 1st, 37.825

Santos: "Gracie had a tremendous season last year in JO and really emerged as a strong all-arounder.  She proved herself to be a great competitor and had quite a few top finishes in big meets during her junior year. We were thrilled that she chose to stay close to home and I know our fans will enjoy watching her clean lines and strong artistry on all four events."

Isabel Redmond | Olympia Gymnastics | Shelby Township, Michigan
Remond is a three-time JO Nationals qualifier from 2015-17. She has also found success in regional championships, finishing in the top 4 in both 2016 and 2017.

  • 2017 Region 5 Championships - 3rd, 38.350
    • First on bars (9.675) and beam (9.625)
  • 2017 Michigan State Championships - 5th, 37.225

  • 2016 Region 5 Championships - 4th, 37.000
  • 2015 JO Nationals qualifier - T4th, 37.325
    • First on bars (9.500)

Santos: "Izzy is hard-working and determined; bringing strong competitive experience coming from Region 5. She has a good foundation for her skill level and is a solid and consistent competitor. Her gymnastics is fun to watch and we are excited to see her continue to improve in an NCAA setting."

Hannah Scharf | Shenderey Gymnastics Institute | Barrie, Ontario, Canada
Scharf will be coming to Tempe all the way from Canada. She has competed in the Canadian Championships and in Elite Canada, finishing 10th in both competitions.

Gymnastics achievements:

  • 2018 Canadian Championships - 10th, 98.464
    • Was in fourth on bars after the first day
  • 2018 Elite Canada - 10th, 50.835
    • Advanced to event finals on bars and in the all-around

Santos: "Hannah is an up-and-coming athlete in the Canadian Elite system and has shown amazing potential for high-level gymnastics.  She has great skill level across the four events and it is going to be fun to see her showcase that in college. She really brings that 'WOW' factor with a variety of skills to choose from - especially on bars and floor. We are excited about her passion and drive to compete at the highest level."
