HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The No. 6 and reigning national champion Sun Devils finished play Sunday at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate amongst a prestigious 18-team field, 10 of which are in the Golfstat top-25 and six from the top-10.

Earlier in the tournament, Olivia Mehaffey shot a 66, one stroke shy of her career low, before finishing just outside the top-10. Senior Roberta Liti finished just outside the top-25 (T28), improving upon her score seven strokes between round one and round two.

"We thank the University of South Carolina for hosting a great event along with Darius Rucker," said head coach Missy Farr-Kaye. "Long Cove Country Club and its members are wonderful hosts."

The remainder of the Sun Devil squad – Madison Kerley, Sophia Zeeb, and Raquel Olmos Ros – improved upon their scores between the second and third rounds for an ASU squad that finished 14th.

"We didn't play our best this week or what we're cable of and we struggled with the cold and windy conditions the last two days. We have some time to get ready for our next event to work on a few different areas."

After being on the road for the majority of the season thus far, ASU has the opportunity to play at and near home over the next month – at the Clover Cup in Mesa Mar. 16-18 and at their own PING ASU Invitational Mar. 23-25.

This week, legendary Sun Devil women's golf coach Linda Vollstedt heads to Las Vegas with 11 other honorees from the Pac-12 Conference's member schools to be inducted into the Pac-12 Hall of Honor.

The ceremony will be streamed live on Pac-12.com and the Pac-12 Now app on Friday, Mar. 9 (4 pm PT/5 pm MT). Amongst the other festivities, the Hall of Honor class will be recognized on court at halftime of the first semifinal game.
