Senior captain Jared du Toit will lead three freshmen into the NCAA Regionals next week in Austin. Two of them have earned Pac-12 All-Freshman honors, and du Toit earned first-team honors with his numbers and his leadership the past season, as the trio joins a long list of Sun Devils who have earned All-Pac-12 honors since joining the league in the 1978-79 season.

Ranking tenth in the nation in stroke average at 70.08, du Toit is tied for second in the nation at par-4 scoring with 3.95 and is tied for nation's lead with nine eagles. He also has helped guide Pac-12 All-Freshmen honorees Chun An Yu and Alejandro Del Rey Gonzalez.

Jared took home individual honors at The Prestige at PGA West on Feb. 22, as he shot a 9-under 204 at the Greg Norman Course in La Quinta, Calif. He beat some of the best in the nation, including Maverick McNealy and Sam Burns, as du Toit  shot 3-under on the par-3 holes and 4-under on the par-4 holes. He had 13 birdies (tied for second) and one eagle en route to the win. He has posted seven top-10 finishes.

In just his third college tournament Chun An Yu took home the individual medal at the National Invitational Tournament in Tucson after shooting an 8-under 64 in the final round on Feb. 28. He shot a tournament-best 8-under on the par-4 holes and 10-under on the par-5 holes and posted 32 pars, 18 birdies and one eagle in the 54 holes and became became just the third Sun Devil freshman to win a tournament since Alejandro Canizares won the 2003 NCAA title. He also tied for second at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational.
