Turner Thorne was joined by Sun Devil women's basketball players Sophie Brunner, Quinn Dornstauder, Courtney Ekmark, Sara Hattis, Charnea Johnson-Chapman, Armani Hawkins and Kelsey Moos. They all joined in cheering on runners as they crossed the finish line in addition to handing out pink beads to all of the runners and supporters.

"I enjoyed attending the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure event on Sunday because I was able to see cancer survivors run across the finish line, which was very inspiring," said Brunner.

Added Ekmark, "It is inspiring to be around cancer survivors and I feel blessed I was able to attend the event."
