HIGH SCHOOL
• A 2015 graduate of Mountain View High School (Mesa, Ariz.).
• A four-year member of the varsity squad, Hawkins averaged 13.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.0 steals during her 88-game career.
• Was one of five players (along with Sabrina Haines) named to The Arizona Republic’s All-Arizona girls basketball team in addition to earning All-Tribune First-Team honors following a senior season in which she averaged 22.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.8 blocks. Went over the 30-point mark twice her senior season. Her scoring average as a senior was nearly nine points higher than her junior season.
• Hawkins was second on the team in scoring (13.2 ppg) her junior season. She also led her squad in rebounding (5.5 rpg) and was second in steals (1.9 spg) on her way to being named the Division I Section III Player of the Year in addition to earning Second-Team All-State honors.
• As a sophomore in 2013, averaged 14.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.2 steals per game.
• Averaged 7.6 points per game as a freshman.
• Was ranked among the top 25 at her position by ESPN.com.
• In addition to playing with older sister Arnecia, Armani is also reunited with fellow freshman Sabrina Haines. The two were teammates at Mountain View freshman and sophomore year before Haines transferred to Desert Vista for her last two seasons.
