Addison Doud scored once in each quarter of play while Kelly Phelps' outside shot in the fourth put the Sun Devils ahead to stay as they came back to defeat UC Santa Barbara, 10-9. The Gacuhos, who led most of the game, got hat tricks from Christie Clark and Gillian Morgan, but it was not enough as Caylinn Wallace stopped six shots in the final quarter to end up with 12 on the game in the victory while Jenny Gonzales recorded nine in the loss. Grace Reynolds scored a game-high five goals, including a pair in the opening and closing stanzas, to pace California to a 14-10 defeat of CS Northridge. Molly Hayes recorded a hat trick in the second half to help the Golden Bears to victory while Christie Cruz did the same to try and keep CSUN close. Lauren Burke made eight saves in the win while Jillian Stapf stopped seven for th e Matadors. Four quarters of play was not enough to decide the outcome of the game, as the 8-8 score in regulation sent the game into overtime where Stacy Werner put home the winning goal on a shot from 7-meters out to give San Diego State a 10-9 victory. Werner, who led all scorers with three goals in the game, scoered her first two in the first quarter and was quiet until her winning score with just 46 seconds remaining in the second extra session. Anna Gonzales and Danielle Pelke each added a pair of goals in the win while Julia Fancher and Robyn Kaake each scored twice for the Anteaters. In the cages, Sarah Kilgore stopped seven shots in the win while Lauren Machanis stopped 15 in the loss.
