In the only elimination game of the tournament, UC Santa Barbara came on top with a 14-10 victory to knock out Pacific and placing the Tigers in 13th place at the 2007 MPSF Championship. Amiee Stachowski netted four goals for the Gauchos, including two in the final stanza, to pace UCSB to victory while Christie Clark, Lindsay Knott and Gillian Morgan each added a pair of scores. The Tigers put up a big fight throughout with Kellie Fletcher scoring four goals, including a hat trick in the first quarter of play, while Sarah Harris scored three and Virginia McConnell two in the loss. Rosey Redaelli stopped eight shots in the victory while Jocelyn Gray blocked 12. Gray was whistled for an ejection during the second quarter with Harris making a save during the power play attempt by UCSB.

Top-ranked Stanford jumped out to an early 7-0 lead on its way to defeating UC Irvine, 17-5, in the first of four quarterfinal games on the day in Tempe. Koree Blyleven scored all three of her goals in the fourth quarter whiel Jacquelyn Gauthier netted her hat trick in the second stanza. Overall, SU had six goal scorers with all recording at least two in the game with Katie Hansen also scoring a hat trick in the win. Julia Fancher and Jackie Prine each scored two goals to pace the Anteaters in the loss. In the cages, Meredith McColl needed to make just four saves as the defense in front of her recorded several field blocks while Lauren Machanis recorded three saves in the loss.

UCLA built a 5-2 lead after one quarter and used a 5-0 second quarter to pull away for a 17-5 defeat of Long Beach State in the second of four quarterfinals on the day. Jillian Kraus and Brittany Rowe each added hat tricks in the victory for the Bruins while Dayna Wawrzynski and Megan Winchell each scored twice for the 49ers in the loss. Emily Feher posted four saves in the first half to help UCLA to victory while Kim Hayes made six stops in the loss.

The Women of Troy punched their ticket to the semifinals of the MPSF Championship with a strong showing of both offense and defense as USC scored a 14-4 victory over San Jose State. Miranda Nichols led all scorers with four goals, including a trio of scores in the first half, to pace the offensive attack of USC while Kami Craig recorded a hat trick as well. Jordan Anea added a pair of goals in the fourth while Jana Wenger also score twice in the victory. Kendra Adama had eight saves for the Spartans to lead all goalies while second-half replacement Whitney Morgan stopped four shot and starter Tumua Anea stopped three.

Jenna Schuster scored seven goals for the Aztecs, but it was not enough as the Rainbow Wahine took a 19-12 victory in the final game of day two at the MPSF Championship in Tempe Friday afternoon. Angela Turnbull scored five goals while both Kristy Bagnall and Kelly Mason each scored four goals to pace an explosive offensive attack for Hawaii. Trailing 7-4 at the half, Schuster took over for the Aztecs and netted four goals, but UH scored six total in the stanza, including two from both Bagnall and Sieprath, to negate the scores and keep UH on top. Defensively, Meike de Nooy halted eight shots in the victory for the Rainbow Wahine while Sarah Kilgore stopped two.
