TEMPE, Ariz. - Post season hopes continued for the Arizona State women's soccer team after they defeated the University of Oregon, 2-1, Friday night at the Sun Devil Soccer Stadium. Additionally, the win total of 12 set an all-time school record for most victories.

The Sun Devils (12-6-0, 4-4-0 Pac-10) notched two goals on 17 shots, while the Ducks (7-11-0, 3-5-0 Pac-10) recorded 1 goal on eight shots. The first goal of the game came in the 28th minute when the Pac-10 Conference's scoring leader Stacey Tullock kicked in a shot from 10 yards out and straight on goal. It was Tullock's 17th goal of the season. In the second half, Oregon's Julie McLellan tied the score when she redirected a Carrie McLanahan corner kick off her chest and inside the near post. But Shanel Scott's second goal of the season won the game when she headed the ball over Oregon goalie Amanda Fox. The header from eight yards out came on Kim Wagner's free kick and Holly Cohen's set up cross. Both of Scott's goals this year have been game-winners.

ASU's goalkeeper Erin Reinke provided five saves on the night, while her counterpart, Fox, recorded four saves.

The Sun Devils will be home against Oregon State, Sunday at 12:00 p.m. at the Sun Devil Soccer Stadium. This game marks the end of the regular-season for both teams.
