Founded in the 1950s, the Academic All-America® program, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), is the premier award recognizing excellence in academics and athletics. CSC members nominate and vote for honorees in 16 sports, including soccer, basketball, swimming, tennis, track and field, and more. Formerly known as College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
