Cam Skattebo rushed for 158 yards and two touchdowns, while Caleb McCullough – a #Door2DoorDevil -- added 12 tackles and two interceptions as Sun Devil Football topped No. 16 Utah 27-19 Friday night at Mountain America Stadium. Arizona State (5-1, 2-1 in Big 12) forced Utah (4-2, 1-2) into three turnovers and made the Utes kick field goals on three of the Utes' four trips into the red zone.
Oklahoma State 27, ASU 15 (Sept. 10, 2023)
ASU was unable to orchestrate a fourth-quarter comeback as Oklahoma State's 17-point second half prevailed the Cowboys to a 27-15 victory. The solid Cowboy defense held the Sun Devils for the majority of the second half, forcing a turnover and three fourth-down stops to shut out ASU in the last 30 minutes. The Cowboys had a 52-yard scoring drive stopped inside ASU's 1-yard line in the fourth, but a delay-of-game penalty stalled the drive prompting OSU to knock in a 22-yard field goal to keep the game within one possession with 7:11 left. ASU was unable to sustain a drive and the Cowboys capitalized on good field position with a late touchdown to take a 27-15 lead and put the game out of reach.
#13 Utah 34, ASU 13 (September 24, 2022)
In Shaun Aguano's first game as interim head coach, ASU fell behind early and could not overcome an offensive barrage from the Utes. Emory Jones passed for 261 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. Carter Brown pushed two field goals through in the first half until ASU marched 45 yards in 10-plays as Emory Jones connected with Messiah Swinson for an 11-yard score with 2:06 to play.
Washington State 34, ASU 21 (Oct. 30, 2021)
Arizona State was unable to overcome three turnovers on its first three possessions and a 28-7 halftime deficit as it fell to the Washington State Cougars, 34-21. Jayden Daniels threw for 228 yards on 23-of-35 with one touchdown but had two interceptions, while Ricky Pearsall had 83 yards on nine catches and Andre Johnson had five receptions -- his highest of the season -- for 51 yards and a touchdown. The offense struggled to get anything going, committing five turnovers in the game, its most since 2010.
USC 31, ASU 26 (Nov. 9, 2019)
The Sun Devils nearly completed a comeback for the ages, but ultimately fell just short to the USC Trojans, 31-26, in a Saturday matinee that was also the Salute to Service game. Trailing by three scores in the first quarter, true freshman quarterback Joey Yellen brought ASU within five points before a late-game turnover killed what could have been a game-winning drive.

ASU knocked off the No. 15 Spartans in tense battle at Sun Devil Stadium. N'Keal Harry was the biggest weapon, catching the only ASU touchdown of the game on a 27-yard reception from Manny Wilkins with 8:45 to play. The score knotted the game at 13, and Brandon Ruiz sealed the upset with a 28-yard field goal as time expired.

There was an incredible defensive performance, a blocked punt and multiple big third down conversions in the win over the fifth-ranked Huskies. Manny Wilkins threw for 245 yards on 29 completions while the stout Sun Devil defense pitched a shutout until late in the fourth quarter, holding on for a monumental 13-7 win against the Huskies. ASU students stormed the field in celebration.
#13 Utah 49, ASU 26 (Nov. 10, 2016)
A Sun Devil squad that was hit with injury went stride-for-stride with No. 13 Utah for most of the game, but couldn't hold on in a 49-26 loss at Sun Devil Stadium on a Thursday night. Manny Wilkins tossed for 309 yards and a touchdown while Kalen Ballage went for 46 yards on the ground.

ASU picked up a key Pac-12 South victory in a full-team effort that included a blocked punt by Dasmond Tautalatasi and the team notching 10 tackles-for-loss and eight sacks on the defensive end.

The contest marked the second straight year that ASU and UCLA played while ranked in the Associated Press Poll. ASU wideout Jaelen Strong finished the game with 12 receptions for 146 yards, the ninth time Strong eclipsed 100 yards receiving. In his first career start, ASU QB Mike Bercovici threw for 488 yards, the first time an ASU QB had thrown for at least 400 yards since Brock Osweiler did so with 487 against Arizona on November 19, 2011.

ASU found the Oregon endzone twice in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough to overcome a key defensive loss early in a setback to Oregon. Marion Grice went for 48 yards on the ground while Michael Eubank was 10-19 with 123 yards and a touchdown in the ASU loss to Marcus Mariota.

The first blackout game saw Jamal Miles hauling in an 11-yard touchdown pass from Brock Osweiler in overtime and the Sun Devil defense holding No. 21 Missouri out of the end zone on their final possession to seal Arizona State's wild 37-30 win. The Sun Devils improved to 2-0 after the win, Dennis Erickson's 28th career victory over a ranked opponent.
