FRESHMAN (2024-25):
Another east coast kid, Joseph Manfredi will join the Sun Devils after a dominant high school career. As a sophomore, Manfredi won all 51 of his matches and brought Herricks High School its first individual champion in 15 years. The following season, he went 41-2 to reach the state semis. In January, he steamrolled his way to a title at the Eastern States Classic Wrestling Tournament, defeating top talent from the east coast. Like fellow lightweight Caleb Camp joining the room, Joseph Manfredi is joining a program that routinely produces All-Americans at the position.
- Appeared in five events for the Sun Devils as a true freshman, including four duals
- Earned the first win of his collegiate career against Cornell's Kaleb Williams at the Journeymen Collegiate Classic in November
- Started at 174 in the team's duals against Cal Baptist, Iowa State, Oklahoma and West Virginia
