- Played in two duals, winning a doubles match in one and not finishing the singles match in the other.
- Teamed up with Marianna Argyrokastriti in one doubles match to earn a win against Grand Canyon.

2019-20 (Junior):
Singles: 2-4 | Doubles: 2-8
- Her two singles wins are straight-set match wins.
- Won back-to-back weekends with doubles partner Sammi Hampton at Whiteman Tennis Center.
- Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll.
2018-19 (Sophomore):
- Only featured in three matches during the spring due to an injury.
- Went 1-1 in dual-match play and 1-2 in the fall.
- Played four doubles matches with Tereza Kolarova in the spring and went 2-1.
2017-18 (Freshman):
- Went on the longest unbeaten streak of any Sun Devil, going 12 matches without a loss.
- Finished 2018 with a team-best 12-2 record, with six wins coming on court five and a perfect 6-0 record on court six.
- Clinched two matches for ASU.
- Was unbeaten at the Whiteman Tennis Center during the regular season.
Prior to ASU:
- Ranked as high as 947 WTA singles and 1182 WTA doubles.
- Represented Slovenia in Junior Fed Cup.
Q & A with Sasa Klanecek
Longest match you have ever played? My longest match lasted about 4 hours and 30 minutes in Mostar (Bosnia an Herzegovina).
What is your favorite shot? From the baseline, I would say my favorite shot is backhand but to step in the court, I prefer forehand.
Favorite commentator? Mats Wilander
Favorite grand slam? Why? Well one of the biggest wishes for me was always to win Wimbledon, but I kind of want Australian open title even more. I guess because it is a grand slam, where the conditions are very hard, so you have to be mentally and physically well prepared. Also, I have heard the atmosphere there is amazing, so that is why Australian open is my favorite out of all four.
Favorite song from your favorite artist? Music is a big part of my life and I do listen to it before matches, in my spare time or just whenever. But at the top of my list you’d find; Kodaline: All I Want.
What is a quote that you live by? “LOVE WILL ALWAYS FIND A WAY.”
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? I have always wanted to surf on the waves in some exotic beach, so yes without a doubt SURFING.
If you could meet anyone, past or present, who would it be? The truth is there are many fascinating people living on this planet. So I would not call the person I would want to meet by just one name, but as someone that has traveled and have seen a lot of things, and that has got many different perspectives about life in general and would just be prepared to share some of those wisdoms and experiences with me very generously.
What's your favorite TV show and why? Since music is a very important part of my life, I do love the shows with music involved. I truly enjoy watching The Voice, but also America’s Got Talent.
What is your favorite meal of the day? My favorite meal is breakfast, because there is so many choices on what to eat plus you can eat a bit of sweet without feeling guilt.
What is your favorite season in the year? I am always anxious for summer to come, so we do not need to wear all those thick jackets.
What is your favorite holiday and why? I love Easter. We have a big family breakfast which is my favorite meal and we hang out, sometimes we even go to church with my grandma. It is just fun, on top of that we all get some chocolate eggs or bunnies that are yummy.?
What three words would you use to describe yourself? Passionate, disciplined and determined.
What is your favorite food? Pff, I am a big food lover. But if I mix veggies, rice and some spice I get a pretty good combination of what I love the most.
What is your favorite candy? I was a chocoholic before, now I just eat chocolate occasionally.
What is a place/country that you have always wanted to visit? I just want to travel the whole world and meet with all kinds of cultures. For the last year South Africa has come to mind and also go to other exotic parts of our planet.
What was the most exciting game you have ever been a part of? All games are fun, but beside tennis I truly enjoy basketball games even though I am not the best at it.
What is your favorite dessert? I would have to choose between ice cream or classic cheesecake.
What got you into playing tennis? My cousin. She was the one who played first in our family and I was watching her matches so I wanted to try it out. So, my mom and dad took me to my first lessons and I have been in this beautiful sport ever since.
What is your favorite thing about Arizona State? There is so much stuff I haven’t seen or experienced yet at Arizona State, still I love the fact that people in our community of our university are like one big family.
