Carly Wynn

TitleAssistant Coach
Sun Devil softball head coach Trisha Ford hired Carly Wynn as an assistant coach as soon as they both stepped on campus in the summer of 2016. Wynn joined the Sun Devils after spending four years as the assistant coach at Fresno State University where she helped coach the Bulldogs to back-to-back Mountain West Conference Championships.

In the 2018 and 2019 seasons, Wynn helped the Sun Devils combine an overall 83-33 record, a Pac-12 29-19 record, and guided the team to their 14th and 15th- consecutive postseason outings.

In 2017, Wynn served as the Sun Devils' first base coach, while also working with the ASU outfielders. Under her tutelage, Arizona State fought their way to a 31-22 record on the year, a mark that stands as the program's 22nd- straight 30-win season, and 23rd- straight winning season. Wynn played a big role in guiding the Sun Devils to the program's 13th- consecutive postseason berth, earning a spot as the No. 2 seed in the 2017 Oxford Regional.

In 2016 Fresno State notched a return trip to the NCAA Tournament, its second-straight Mountain West Championship, a near sweep of MWC postseason honors and posted 42 wins, including a 22-1 conference mark and a national-best 23-game win streak.

Wynn served as a graduate assistant at Florida State from 2010-12. While working for the Seminoles, Wynn's responsibilities included coaching duties, documenting in-game video logs, pitch charts and running camps.

Previous to her graduate assistantship at Florida State, Wynn played for the Seminoles from 2007-10. She was an All-ACC Team selection from 2008-10 as well as an All-ACC Academic Team selection all four years. The slugger swung her way into the record books in seven offensive categories including batting average, runs scored, hits, doubles, homeruns, walks and slugging percentage.

Wynn also played professionally in the National Professional Fastpitch Softball League for the Tennessee Diamonds.

A native of Sharpsburg, Ga., she earned her bachelor's from Florida State University in Psychology in 2010 before earning a master's degree in Sports Management in 2011.
