• Swam ASU's 9th and 10th fastest 1000 free and the 3rd and 4th fastest 1650 free
• Swam the 9th fastest 400 IM
• Pac-12 All-Academic First Team 
• Received men's Hardest Worker Award at annual team banquet

FRESHMAN (2016-17):

• Competed in 200, 500, 1000, and 1650 free

PERSONAL: Son to Charlie and Nariko Kao ... has one older brother (Sean) and one younger (Skyler) ... his brother Sean competed for the Sun Devils through 2016 ... majoring in global studies
