AWARDS & ACHIEVEMENTS

• Holds the school record in the 50 free (18.61) and is a part of the 400 free relay (2:43.20) that holds the NCAA record. Also is a part of the school records in the 200 free relay (1:13.95) and 200 medley relay (1:20.55)
• 7x Pac-12 champion
  • 2023: 50 free, 200 medley relay, 200 free relay and 400 free relay
  • 2024: 50 free, 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay 
• Named the Pac-12 Freshman Swimmer of the Year after scoring the most points by any freshman at the 2020 Pac-12 Championships. Was also fourth in both the 100 back and 100 free.
• Earned a podium finish in the 200 free (second) at the 2020 Pac-12 Championships
• Named a CSCAA All-American in the 100 Free, 200 Free, 200 Free Relay, 400 Free Relay, 800 Free Relay and 200 Medley Relay his freshman year

REDSHIRT SENIOR (2023-24)

• Named to the 2024 Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll
• Won the 400 free relay at the NCAA Championships (3/27-3/30) as the Sun Devil men won the program's first NCAA title. Also placed third in the 200 free relay, sixth in the 100 free, seventh in the 50 free and 12th in the 100 back
• Won the 50 free, 200 medley relay, 200 free relay and 400 free relay at the Pac-12 Championships (3/6-3/9) helping the Sun Devil men repeat as conference champions. Also took second in both the 100 back and 100 free.
• Won the 50 free and 100 free at No. 23 Arizona (2/10), while also taking second in the 200 medley relay and the 400 free relay
• Won the 200 free relay at No. 3 California (1/20), and placed fourth in the 50 free and fifth in the 100 free while also competing in the 200 medley relay
• Tied for second in the 50 free and took third in the 200 medley relay at No. 9 Stanford (1/19)
• Won the 100 free vs. GCU (1/6), while placing second in the 400 free relay and third in the 200 free and 200 medley relay
• Won the 200 medley relay, 50 free and 400 free relay against Utah (11/20), while also finishing second in the 100 fly
• Had seven top-four finishes at the midseason NC State Invite (11/16-11/18): 200 free relay (1st), 400 medley relay (1st), 400 free relay (1st), 200 medley relay (1st), 100 back (2nd), 100 free (2nd) and 50 free (4th)
• Went 4-for-4 in events he swam vs. No. 16 USC (11/4): 200 medley relay, 50 free, 100 free and 400 free relay
• Took second in the 50 and 100m free in the exhibition meet swimming LCM events with No. 4 NC State (10/21), while also swimming the 200m free
• Won all four events he competed in against No. 4 NC State (10/20): 200 medley relay, 50 free, 100 free and 400 free relay
• Won the 100 free, 100 back and 200 free relay vs. UNLV (10/6)
• Won the 200 medley relay, 50 free and 400 free relay and was second in the 100 free against Georgia (9/23)
• Won 200m medley relay and took second in 400m medley relay and 200m free relay in season opener swimming LCM vs. Georgia (9/22)

REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2022-23)

• Helped the Sun Devils place second at the NCAA Championships (3/22-3/25) for the first time in program history by taking second in the 200 medley relay, third in both the 400 medley relay and 400 free relay, fifth in the 200 free relay and seventh in both the 100 back and 50 free. Was also 16th in the 100 free.
• Won the 50 free, 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay at the Pac-12 Championships (3/1-3/4), helping the Sun Devil Men win their first conference title in program history. Also took second in both the 200 free relay and 400 free relay.
• Won the 50 free and was third in the 100 free in the regular season finale win against Arizona (2/4)
• Won the 50 free and was second in the 100 free in the victory against No. 2 Cal (1/21)
• Won the 100 back and took third in the 100 free in the win against No. 12 Stanford (1/20)
• Won the 100 back, 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay and 200 free relay at the midseason NC State Invite (11/17-11/19), while also placing second in the 50 free, third in the 400 free relay and fourth in the 100 free
• Won the 100 back, 200 medley relay and 400 free relay and was second in the 100 free in the Pac-12 opener against USC (11/4)
• Won the 400 medley relay and took second in the 50 free and third in the 100 free in the home opener against Wisconsin (10/22)
• In the team's tri-meet against Georgia and Missouri (10/1), he won the 200 medley relay and the 400 free relay while placing second in the 50 free and fifth in the 100 free
• Won the 200 medley relay, 200 free relay and the 400 back/breast relay in the season opener at Georgia (9/30)

REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2021-22)

• Helped the Sun Devils place 6th overall in the team standings at the NCAA Championships for their highest finish since 1982 by racing in the 200 medley relay (6th), 200 free relay (6th), 400 medley relay (8th) and 50 free (14th) (3/23-3/26)
• Competed at the Pac-12 Championships, in which he placed 2nd in the 200 & 400 medley relays, the 200 & 400 free relays, 3rd in the 50 free and 5th in the 100 free and 100 back (3/2-3/5)
• Won the 100 back and 400 free relay and finished third in the 200 medley relay and fourth in the 100 free against Arizona (2/5)
• Placed fourth in the 100 back and also competed in the 100 free, 200 medley relay and 200 free relay against Cal (1/22)
• Won the 400 free relay and finished second in the 200 medley relay against Stanford (1/21)
• Won the 50 free (19.12 is new school record), 200 free relay, 400 free relay and placed second in the 200 and 400 medley relay at the NC State Invite
• Won the 100 back and 400 free relay and finished third in the 200 medley relay and fourth in the 200 back on 11/6 against USC

SOPHOMORE (2020-21)

• No regular season; entire roster redshirted

FRESHMAN (2019-20)

• Made his collegiate debut against Utah, winning the 200 free while taking second in the 200 back (10/25)
• Won the 200 free and placed second in the 200 back against USC (11/1)
• Won the 200 free and placed fifth in the 50 free and sixth in the 200 free at the Wolfpack Invitational
• Earned two podium finishes in the 200 free and third in the 200 back against Stanford (1/24)
• Took second in the 100 free against Arizona (2/8)
• Competed in the Pac-12 Championships in the 200 free (second), 100 free (fourth) and 50 free (seventh)

HIGH SCHOOL

• Won 100 free and 200 free while putting up personal bests in the 50/200 free and 100 back at the Winter Juniors West
• Also competed at the Columbia Sectionals and NSCA Spring Champsionship
• Was at one point rated the No. 1 recruit in his incoming class as one of the top talent

PERSONAL

• Says his most exciting moment in sports so far has been when he saw his first Olympic Trial cut
• His grandfather played hockey at Denver University
• Lists his hobbies as spikeball and pingpong
• Chose ASU because he loved everything about it and the university was a perfect fit for him
