Updated Golfstat Cup Rankings

Arizona State senior golfer Niklas Lemke is the top-ranked player in the nation according to this week's Golfstat Cup Rankings.

Lemke has seven top-five finishes in nine events and has a 70.03 scoring average on the season. He earned medalist honors at the 2006 Illini Invitational (Sept. 24-25) and at the 2007 National Invitational Tournament (April 2-3).

Arizona State next competes in the 2007 Pac-10 Championship held April 23-25 at the Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Ore. ASU's lineup will be Lemke, Benjamin Alvarado Holley, Knut Borsheim, Fredrik Andersson, Steele DeWald and Tristan Bierenbroodspot.

ASU has had one recipient of the Golfstat Cup, awarded to the top-ranked player according to the Golfstat rankings at the end of the year, as Chris Hanell earned the honor in 1997.
