ASU Named National Men's Team of the Week (Golfweek, April 10, 2007)
The Arizona State men's golf team has been named Golfweek's National Men's Team of the Week after its impressive win in the National Invitational in Tucson on April 2-3.
ASU hosts its Thunderbird Invitational Friday through Sunday (April 12-14) at Karsten Golf Course this weekend. ASU is ranked 18th in the latest Golfweek poll.
Senior All-American Niklas Lemke leads the Sun Devils with a 70.13 stroke average and has six top-five finishes. He earned his second collegiate victory at the National Invitational with a 9-under 207. He beat sophomore teammate Benjamin Alvarado Holley by one stroke.
