Freshman Benjamin Alvarado Holley shot a 1-over 73 in the final round of the Southern Highlands Invitational in Las Vegas on Sunday to finish tied for seventh as ASU tied for fifth in the 15-team event.
Alvarado Holley shot a 5-over 221 (77-71-73) to lead the Sun Devils, who tied for fifth at 38-over 902 (311-288-303). Host UNLV won the event with a 15-over 879 (295-294-290).
Niklas Lemke tied for 16th at 10-over 226 (76-73-77), Alejandro Canizares tied for 20th at 11-over 227 (78-70-79), Erik Coover was at 16-over 232 (80-74-78) and Steele DeWald is at 19-over 235 (82-78-75).
