The Arizona State University men's golf team travels to Las Vegas to play in the Southern Highlands College Championship March 11-13, held at Southern Highlands Golf Club (par-72, 7,510 yards).
ASU won the event with a 16-under 848 last year (279-276-293) and will go with a lineup of Alejandro Canizares, Pat Moore, Jesse Mueller, Niklas Lemke and Kendall Critchfield. Canizares and Mueller both finished tied for sixth last year at the Southern Highlands Championship at 5-under 211, while Niklas Lemke finished tied for 18th (1-under 215) and Critchfield tied for 61st (13-over 229).
ASU enters the tournament ranked No. 11 in the Golf Coaches Association poll, No. 13 by Golfstat and No. 14 by Golfweek.
The teams will play 18 holes for three days and live scoring will be available at golfstat.com.
Fifteen teams are in the field, including Pac-10 teams UCLA and Washington.
