The Arizona State men's golf team shot a 1-over 285 in the first round of the USC Cleveland Classic, but was 18-over through 16 holes in the second round when play was suspended due to darkness. Alejandro Canizares shot a 4-under 67 in the first round to lead ASU early. Play concludes Tuesday.
Canizares and Chez Reavie both finished their second round, as Reavie shot 72-73 while Canizares was at 4-over 75 and is currently tied for 11th. Other Sun Devils included Niklas Lemke, who shot an even-par 71 in the first round, Charly Simon (76) and Pat Moore (75). Lemke, Simon and Moore all were still on the course when the second round was suspended.

ASU is currently in 10th place at 19-over, while USC is at 2-under and leads.
