  • Redshirt Junior (2019)
  • Big-play threat that developed into one of the most dangerous offensive weapons in the conference
  • Looks to become the third consecutive Sun Devil receiver to be drafted (N’Keal Harry and Brandon Aiyuk both first round picks)
  • Will have a chance to assume the lead receiver role in 2020 after playing behind two eventual first-round receivers in N’Keal Harry (2018) and Brandon Aiyuk (2019)
  • Earned Pac-12 honorable mention accolades in 2019
  • Hauled in a touchdown pass in four straight games in the back half of the season and accounted for two touchdowns in three of those outings. He had seven touchdowns over the four-game span (UCLA-USC-Oregon State-Oregon). Prior to the UCLA game, he had five total receiving touchdowns in his previous 30 career games to that current four-game stretch.
  • In those four games, he has made 16 catches for 387 yards (24.2 yards per catch) and seven touchdowns
  • His 125-yard performance in the upset victory over No. 6 Oregon was the fifth 100+ yard game of his career
  • Darby's 19.87 yards per reception last season was 10th in the country and second among Pac-12 receivers
  • When targeted this season, Darby posted a 133.1 NFL quarterback rating (31 catches for 616 yards with eight touchdowns and no interceptions) – good for the 21st-highest total among all wide receivers nationally and top-10 among those that return this season
Redshirt Sophomore (2018)
  • Emerged as a significant part of the Sun Devil offense, offering a potent deep threat
  • Finished with 21 catches for 421 yards and two touchdowns, playing in all 13 games for the Sun Devils
  • 50% of his targets last year came on deep passes, a total that led the Pac-12
  • Averaged 20.0 yards/catch, which would have put him 14th nationally had he caught five more passes to reach the catches/game minimum
  • Put together two 100+ yard performances
  • Made five catches for 127 yards with a long of 51 yards on the road against San Diego State (9/15)
  • Caught three passes for 131 yards against Colorado (10/6), including a 72-yard catch and 40-yard touchdown reception
Redshirt Freshman (2017)
  • Appeared in 10 games for the Sun Devils
  • Had a career high three catches for 111 yards and a touchdown against San Diego State.
  • Recorded his career long reception with a 53-yarder against SDSU.
  • Finished the season with 9 catches for 234 yards and two touchdowns.
  • Acted as a big play threat, averaging 26 yards per catch.
  • His only rushing attempt of the year went for a 21-yard touchdown at Texas Tech.
 Freshman (2016)
  • Named Co-Scout Team Player of the Year among offensive players along with Ryan Newsome while redshirting the campaign.
 High School
  • Rated by 247 Sports composite as a three-star recruit
  • As a senior at Lincoln High School he picked up 957 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns on 35 receptions on the way to first-team all-state honors, Lincoln High’s first recipient in four decades
