Quick Hits
  • The Sun Devils have scored double-digit points in 123 consecutive games, the longest active streak in the FBS and the second-longest streak in the modern era of football behind only Louisiana Tech.
  • ASU also holds the FBS active streak for consecutive games scoring more than 7 points, extending their streak to 138 straight games.
  • ASU recorded a takeaway for the 10th-consecutive outing. 
  • Redshirt freshman wide receiver Geordon Porter made his first appearance of the 2019 season, becoming the 29th freshman (true or redshirt) to see playing time this season.
  • The 21 points by Arizona State in the second quarter were the most it has scored in a single quarter this season. It is the most points in a quarter since the Sun Devils scored 21 in the second quarter against Oregon State last year (9/29/18). 
All About The Benjamins 
  • With his second carry in the game, junior running back Eno Benjamin surpassed the 2,000 yard career rushing mark. He has now carried for 2,076 yards in his three seasons as a Sun Devil.
  • Benjamin rushed for a pair of touchdowns in the first half of Saturday’s game, pushing him to 20 career rushing touchdowns.
  • Saturday marked the fifth time Benjamin has rushed for two or more touchdowns in a game in his career, and the sixth time he has been responsible for two or more touchdowns.
  • Eno Benjamin has now recorded a touchdown in six consecutive games. 
DAAAAAMN DANIELS 
  • Jayden Daniels threw for a career-high 345 yards and two touchdowns in the defeat, the third most passing yards by a Sun Devil freshman quarterback.

Big Play Frank
  • With his two catches in the game tonight, Frank Darby now has 37 total receptions as a Sun Devil. 15 of those have gone for 20+ yards (41%) and 9 have gone for 40+ yards (24%).
  • Darby’s 39-yard touchdown catch almost matched his 40-yard touchdown catch against the Buffaloes a season ago.
Brand New Brandon
  • Brandon Aiyuk has helped replace the production lost from First Team All-Pac-12 Wide Receiver N’Keal Harry to the NFL Draft. 
  • After collecting 10 catches for 178 yards and one touchdown through his first eight games as a Sun Devil, Brandon Aiyuk has emerged as a go-to target over the past nine, totaling 44 catches for 720 yards and four touchdowns.
  • Aiyuk has at least one catch of over 40 yards in each of the four games this season. 

The Gold Zone 
  • The Sun Devils were a perfect 3-for-3 in the red zone, pushing their season total to 13-for-14 (93%). 

Turk at Work
  • Michael Turk is averaging over 50 yards a punt, with 10 of his 19 kicks travelling further than 50 yards.
  • He has pinned the opponent inside their own 20 on 10 different occasions (53% of the time). 

Pedigree in the Z’s
  • Zendejas continues to be a reliable piece of the Sun Devil offense, responsible for 36 points through four games. He is now 9-of-10 on field goals and a perfect 9-for-9 on extra points. 

“Fresh” Faces
  • Sun Devil freshman wide receivers Jordan Kerley, Geordon Porter, and Ricky Pearsall contributed in the passing game, combining to catch four passes for 89 yards.
  • Two of those catches and 59 of those yards came from Jordan Kerley, with each of his catches going for 25+ yards.
  • Nine different Sun Devils made a reception for the first time since the Stanford game (10/18/18). 

Sun Devil Firsts
  • Case Hatch recorded his first forced fumble of his collegiate career. 

Career Highs
  • Jayden Daniels racked up a career-best 345 passing yards.
  • Khaylan Kearse-Thomas was all over the field, recording a career-high 11 total tackles.
  • Jordan Kerley tallied a career-high 59 receiving yards.
