TEMPE – Sun Devil Wrestling and Head Coach Zeke Jones announced their full 2026-27 schedule. The team highlights seven home meets, seven road duals, and three neutral-site invite meets throughout the season, highlighted by hosting the Sun Devil Invitational on November 14.
Previously announced matches include hosting the reigning Big 12 Champions Oklahoma State on Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. MST, a day before Sun Devil Football hosts the Cowboys on Nov. 21.
ASU will also compete at National Duals for the second consecutive year, held on Dec. 12-13 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The Sun Devils will host No. 19 Oklahoma, No. 27 Wisconsin, Utah Valley, Northern Iowa and welcome a trio of teams in the Sun Devil Invitational on Nov. 14. All home matches will take place at Desert Financial Arena. Dates and times will be announced at a later date.
Arizona State will host the Sun Devil Invitational on Nov. 14, welcoming Arizona Christian, Hope International and Embry-Riddle for a day full of wrestling. The week before, the Sun Devils will head to East Lansing to compete at the Michigan State Open on Nov. 7.
Following National Duals in December, the Sun Devils will return to Desert Financial Arena to host the Wisconsin Badgers on Dec. 21, prior to the holiday. at 7 p.m. MST.
Arizona State will open 2027 with three straight duals on the road, traveling to face former Pac-12 rival Oregon State on January 3, then Wyoming on Jan. 8, before closing the road trip at Iowa State on Jan. 10.
ASU will return to Tempe for a match against Oklahoma on Jan. 17 at 1 p.m., before hitting the road, facing Big 12 foe West Virginia on Jan. 24 at 1 p.m. MST. The Sun Devils conclude a busy January hosting their final two matches against Utah Valley on Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. MST and holding senior day on February 7 against Northern Iowa at 1 p.m. MST
The team’s final three matches are all on the road, facing Missouri on Feb. 11, Lehigh the next week on Feb. 19 and concluding the regular season at Nebraska on Feb. 21.
The postseason officially begins at the 2027 Big 12 Championships, held at the BOK Center from March 5-6, then turns the page to the NCAA Championships on March 18-20, held at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, to conclude the season.
The Maroon and Gold return All-American and 2026 Big 12 Champion Nicco Ruiz to the squad, who went 20-5 in his third season and went 9-1 in Big 12 matches. Ruiz earned fourth this past March at the NCAA Championships.
Junior Kaleb Larkin won a Big 12 Championship at 157 lbs last season and went 26-4, including 15 bonus-point wins in his first full season as a Sun Devil. Sophomore Kyler Larkin had a 19-4 record last year and was runner-up at the Big 12 Championships. Kyler Larkin went 15-1 in the regular season and went a perfect 8-0 in duals as a freshman.
Zeke Jones’ squad is ranked No. 5 in the nation by Intermat and No. 7 by MatScout. Top-20 recruit at 125 lbs, Rylan Seacrist is the first top-20 recruit since 2024 national champion Richie Figueroa. Seacrist was ranked the No. 2 prospect in his weight class and is a Fargo National Champion, Ohio State champion and a U.S. Open All-American. Arizona State is the only team with four incoming recruits in the top 70 this year.
In 2026, the Sun Devils finished No. 12 nationally after junior Ruiz and graduate transfer David Szuba earned All-American honors at the NCAA Championships. Ruiz finished fourth at 165 lbs, the best by a Sun Devil since Steve Blackford took third in 2000. ASU finished third at the Big 12 Championships with 94 points, headlined by Ruiz and sophomore Kaleb Larkin earning Big 12 titles.
