Molly Miller's contract extension is done after taking a program that was 53-88 and 17-65 in conference play the previous five seasons and NCAA-Tournament less since 2019 to a 24-11 mark and a tournament berth in year one.

“Molly’s impact has been immediate, creating real momentum and putting Sun Devil Women’s Basketball in the national spotlight," says Athletics Director Graham Rossini. "This extension reflects our confidence in her leadership, her vision and the elite program she is building at ASU, one capable of competing for championships. As the season begins Nov. 2, we need Sun Devil fans to pack Desert Financial Arena and support this exciting roster.”

Molly and her husband, Derek, are excited to for the future of their family, which includes children Crosby and Cy.

She was introduced on On March 22, 2025, and the first year had some many "first time since" notes we list many of them here to make it easy for you to look. 

The program set Sun Devil record for total attendance (61,695) in 2025-26 that included a 15-0 start, a three-game sweep of Arizona, a two-game sweep of Utah, a 15-2 home record and nine wins away from home.

The NCAA does this list, and it is impressive
Miller went 117-38 (.760) at Grand Canyon prior to ASU, and overall now is 321-66 (.829) at the collegiate level that also includes 180 wins in six seasons at her alma mater (Drury), where she served as an assistant coach and was a four-year letterwinner. How good is that? This list is a good one to be third.

Transfer to ASU, get better under CMM and her staff
Just how good of a move was it to transfer to ASU last year? McKinna Brackens averaged 6.8 points and 4.5 rebounds in 58 career games prior to last season, then jumped to 14.4 ppg. and 6.4 rpg. last year. Heloise "El" Carrera averaged 4.9 minutes and 1.7 ppg in her first year, then came to ASU for sophomore season and averaged 26.6 minutes and 10.4 ppg.
