2025 season recap
In 2025, back-to-back Big 12 Champion Arizona State made it to the NCAA Regional Semifinal for the second time in the last three seasons (fourth overall) after another stellar season atop the conference. Despite an entirely new starting lineup, ASU had a 28-4 overall record (second in team history for winning percentage) with a 17-1 mark in conference play in 2025.

From last year’s roster, Arizona State returns four starters that played in the majority of matches in 2025. The team graduated two All-Americans and three additional starters. In total, ASU returned 10 from last year’s roster and added 10.

Player notes
Glover is going into her senior year with many accolades as she earned AVCA First Team All-America honors last year along with her Big 12 Player of the Year award. She is the returning kills leader (423) and has been named to the AVCA National Player of the Year Watch List. In all but one match she played in 2025, Glover reached double-digit kills, including four matches with 20 or more kills. She also led the pin hitters in hitting percentage, swinging at a .363 clip.

Clinton is entering her first year at ASU as a graduate student after spending four seasons at Kansas State. In 2025, she helped them get to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, playing in all but two matches. She was named to the 2025 All-Big 12 Second Team and was second on the team in kills with 351. She had 18 matches with double-digit kills, including three with 20 or more, and notched nine double-doubles this season also.

Vajagic is also new to the Sun Devils this season. She was with Wisconsin for two seasons prior. She started all matches in 2025 at outside hitter, helping her team reach the national semifinals, and ended the season with 10 double-doubles. She was second on the team in total kills with 307 and in digs with 275. She had 18 matches with double-digit kills, including the last seven in a row.
