SALT LAKE CITY – No. 11 Sun Devil Women’s Tennis clinched a share of the 2026 Big 12 regular season title after its ninth-straight conference victory, winning 4-0 over No. 26 Utah (15-8, 8-5 Big 12) on Saturday afternoon at George S. Eccles Tennis Center.
Arizona State (19-4, 11-2 Big 12) secured its first Big 12 Championship in program history (both regular season and tournament) and its 19th win of the season, which is tied for the third most in program history. Additionally, it’s the team’s ninth-straight win, which is the longest since March 5 - April 2, 2016.
Sun Devil Athletics has won four conference titles this 2025-26 season, joining volleyball and men’s and women’s swim and dive this year. Since joining the Big 12 Conference in 2024, the Sun Devils have won eight conference championships in five different sports.
For head coach Jamea Jackson, it’s her third career conference championship as a head coach and her first title in Tempe. In 2023 and 2024, Jackson won a pair of Ivy League championships with Princeton.
The Sun Devils won the doubles point with a win by graduate Vivian Ovrootsky and Lily Taylor, 6-2, on court one. Junior Sara Svetac and sophomore Aiya Nupbay cruised to a 6-1 win on court two.
