The fifth-ranked Sun Devil men's golf team – in a stretch of five tournaments (15 rounds) in a 31-day span in Mexico, San Francisco, Tucson, West Palm Beach and Carrollton (Texas) – takes its good momentum to the Tucson Country Club for the Arizona Thunderbird March 16-17.
ASU won the Desimone Invitational in convincing fashion in its last tournament, with junior Fifa Laopakdee earning co-medalist honors.
Top 60 NCAA players Michael Mjaaseth (10) and junior Connor Williams (14) are at top of the lineup, along with Laopakdee (58), who will be playing in the 2026 Masters and British Open, as well as freshmen Bryan Newman and Bowen Mauss.
ASU shot 39-under (271-276-278) to beat TCU by 20 strokes, as the field included top-10 teams No. 4 Texas and No. 10 Pepperdine. The Sun Devils are now 70-29-1 in head-to-head competition.
ASU also had Bowen Maus (tied for fifth) and Michael Mjaaseth (tied for seventh) notch top-five finishes.
