Sun Devil Michael Mjaaseth, a two-time senior All-American from Norway, posted one of the best tournaments in ASU history in Hawaii this week.
Mjaaseth finished third and shot 19-under 197 (63-63-71) at the Amer Ari Invitational that finished Saturday, which was hosted by Hawai’i-Hilo and Hawai’i-Manoa. Mjaaseth shot 9-under 63 in the first two rounds, then settled down for a 1-under 71 in the final round.
He entered the week ranked 20th (WAGR) and 23rd (NCAA Scoreboard).
ASU finished third at 58-under 806 and moved its head-to-head record to 49-23-1 in 2025-26.
