TUCSON, Ariz.  – No. 2/18 Sun Devil Swim and Dive will travel down to Tucson to face in-state rival Arizona on Friday, Feb. 6, at 1 p.m. MST for its final regular-season dual meet before the postseason.

Friday’s meet against the Wildcats will start at 1 p.m. MST at Hillenbrand Aquatic Center. Coverage can be followed on the team’s social media channels on X (@ASUSwimDive) and Instagram (@Sundevilswimdive). For live results, it can be found on Meet Mobile with the purchase of a subscription.

Arizona State will head to Tucson after securing a top-two finish in every event in the Big 12 West Championships three weeks ago. Standout events from the weekend included the men’s 100 free, women’s 200 fly and the 400 medley relay events.

Senior Jonny Kulow led the way for the Sun Devil men with a dominant performance in the men’s 100 free. Kulow recorded a 41.60 with graduate Remi Fabiani placing second in 41.73. Senior Andy Dobrzanski recorded a personal best time of 1:50.95 in the 200 breast over the weekend, securing the eighth-fastest time in the country. 

The Sun Devil men continue to boast some of the fastest times in the country, ranking tied for first in the 50 free by junior Ilya Kharun with a time 18.40. Fabiani has the second fastest 100 free time of 41.10, including an NCAA best at 1:31.23 in the 200 free. Graduate Adam Chaney 100 back time of 44.13 time ranks third in the country. While JT Ewing has the second fastest 200 back time at 1:39.00.

In the 100 fly Kharun remains the fastest in the nation with a 43.38 and has the second fastest 200 fly in 1:37.56. The Sun Devil men’s 200 free relay (1:13.72), 200 medley relay (1:20.56) and the 400 medley relay (2:59.87) all are the best in the country.

In the Big 12 West Championships, Arizona State swept the podium in the 200 fly with sophomore Julia Ullmann placing first in 1:57.04. Sophomore Jordan Greber continues to have a successful season for the Sun Devils, taking first in the 200 IM with a 1:59.56. Greber continues to hold the seventh fastest time in school history in the 100 free (48.81). 

Arizona also competed in the Big 12 West Championships, where the women’s team placed in the top three 18 times and the men’s team placed 18 times between both sessions. Last year, ASU won the last meet against Arizona with both men’s and women’s teams coming out on top. The Sun Devil men have won eight straight against the Wildcats and the Sun Devil women defeated their in-state rival for the fourth time in six years.
