Rotation two: vault, 48.950
Two 9.800s from Purler and Gregoire pushed ASU in the right direction on vault. Once again, Smith came through with a 9.825 to assist in a comeback, trailing after two rotations.

A 9.800 from Platkin on the floor helped the Sun Devils early on. Gregoire and Kelly both earned back-to-back 9.850s to keep the momentum going. Smith finished the event with a strong 9.825. Meanwhile, Kentucky struggled on beam, scoring a 47.000 and allowing Arizona State to take the lead.

Rotation four: beam, 48.775
Lee’s 9.850 tied for the highest beam score of the evening, starting the Sun Devils off strong. Bromley’s second 9.850 of the night also tied for event best. Despite three scores ranging from 9.650 to 9.675, ASU’s earlier success and steadiness to stay on the beam won them the night.
