TEMPE – Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson was named to the Associated Press All-America team, the outlet announced Monday.

Tyson was named to the AP’s third team offense for the second consecutive year and was tied for fourth in the Big 12 with eight touchdown receptions in nine games this season.

The Allen, Texas native ranks second in the Big 12, averaging 79 yards per game and has had four games of 100 yards receiving, including two games with two receiving touchdowns during the season. In his first five games this season, the redshirt junior had 39 receptions for 483 yards and seven touchdowns. In the win over then-No. 7 Texas Tech, Tyson hauled in 10 receptions for 105 yards and added a receiving touchdown and a rushing touchdown in the 26-22 win on Oct. 18.

In his time at Arizona State, Tyson has recorded 1,812 yards on 158 catches for 18 receiving touchdowns. In 2024, he was named Big 12 Offensive Newcomer of the Year and had five games of 100 yards receiving, including 12 catches for 176 yards and two touchdowns in a 24-14 victory at No. 20 Kansas State on Nov. 16, 2024.

Tyson, now a two-time third-team AP All-American, earned a spot on the All-Big 12 Conference first team last season and helped lead the Sun Devils to an 11-3 record. Winning the conference outright for the first time since 1996 and clinching a spot in the College Football Playoff.
