The home slate features premier dual meets, including the annual Maroon and Gold intrasquad scrimmage to start the season. The Sun Devils will then begin their home season by welcoming in Big 12 foe Oklahoma State on Nov. 23.

The home schedule will then feature bouts with marquee matchups such as No. 4 Iowa State, No. 8 Oklahoma State, No. 16 West Virginia, No. 19 Missouri and Cal Baptist in Tempe.

ASU will also compete in three separate invite events, starting with the Michigan State Open. After the trip to East Lansing, the Sun Devils will work in the National Duals in Tulsa, followed by the Cliff Keen Invitational in Las Vegas.

The official road schedule begins in the Midwest with a contest against the Wisconsin Badgers before heading to South Dakota State in a special dual at the iconic Sanford Pentagon. Late January will feature three consecutive road meets against Northern Colorado, Northern Iowa and Cornell. The road gauntlet will then conclude with an early February tilt against Oklahoma to put a cap on the road regular season schedule.

The 2026 Big 12 Championships will once again be held in Tulsa at the BOK Center from March 7-8, 2026. However, the wrestling world will ultimately turn to Cleveland, Ohio, as the NCAA Wrestling Championships will have a new home at Rocket Arena from March 19-21, 2026, to mark the end of the season.

Regarding the NCAA championships, returner Nicco Ruiz is one of three Sun Devils who competed at the NCAA Wrestling Championships this past March, as he finished 14-8 during his second season in Tempe last year.

The Ontario, California native is touted as one of the country’s top 165-pounders and is ranked No. 13 according to FloWrestling’s preseason rankings. Ruiz is one of four Sun Devils in the early-season ranks, joined by fellow returner Pierson Manville and newcomers Colton Hawks and David Szuba

Welcome to Tempe
The Sun Devils welcome 14 newcomers to the team, making it the largest signing class in Sun Devil Wrestling history. Kyler Larkin headlines the class and joins his older brother, Kaleb Larkin, on the squad. Larkin is considered one of the top 132-pounders and recently captured the U20 Pan-American title in the 61 kg freestyle division, representing the United States.

Joining Larkin is Oklahoma transfer Jude Randall, who went 9-3 last season as a freshman in Norman. He also joined Larkin and captured a U20 Pan-American title at 72 kg in the Greco-Roman division.

Coming from Rider University, David Szuba is ranked No. 20 on FloWrestling’s preseason list in the heavyweight division. He compiled a career 68-37 record and qualified for the NCAA Championships last season, including a victory in the first round. He secured the MAC Championship and went 12-1 as a senior last season. His younger brother, Ben Szuba, joins the team, entering his freshman year.

The Sun Devils also made a late splash, bringing in Mizzou transfer and three-time NCAA qualifier Colton Hawks to round out an almost brand new roster set to compete in 2025-26.
