TEMPE – Sun Devil Wrestling and Head Coach Zeke Jones announced its home schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 season, featuring six ranked opponents according to FloWrestling’s preseason rankings.

Locations, dates and times for all home meets will be shared with fans at a later date.

The home slate features seven dual meets, including the annual Maroon and Gold intersquad scrimmage to start the season. The Sun Devils will host conference foes like No. 4 Iowa State, No. 8 Oklahoma State, No. 15 West Virginia, No. 16 Missouri and Cal Baptist in Tempe. 

The Sun Devils will duel against former Pac-12 conference rival No. 29 Oregon State, and then they’ll take on Lehigh after facing the Mountain Hawks last season in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. 

The 2026 Big 12 Championships will remain in Tulsa and the BOK Center with the NCAA Wrestling Championships moving to Cleveland, Ohio at Rocket Arena on March 19-21, 2026.

Nicco RuizNicco Ruiz is one of three Sun Devils who competed at the NCAA Wrestling Championships this past March, and finished 14-8 in his second season in Tempe. The Ontario, California native is touted as one of the country’s top 165-pounders and is ranked No. 13 according to FloWrestling’s preseason rankings.

Last season for ASU featured Sun Devil heavyweight Cohlton Schultz becoming the first five-time All-American in program history with a third-place finish at the NCAA Championships.

Welcome to Tempe
The Sun Devils welcome 14 newcomers to the team, making it the largest signing class in Sun Devil Wrestling history.

Kyler Larkin headlines the class and joins his older brother, Kaleb Larkin to the squad. Larkin, is considered one of the top 132-pounders and recently captured the U20 Pan-American title in the 61 kg freestyle division, representing the United States. 

Joining Larkin is Oklahoma transfer Jude Randall who went 9-3 last season as a freshman in Norman. He also joined Larkin and captured a U20 Pan-American title at 72 kg in the Greco-Roman division.

Coming from Rider University, David Szuba is ranked No. 20 on FloWrestling’s preseason list in the heavyweight division. He’s compiled a career 68-37 record and qualified for the NCAA Championships last season including a victory in the first round. He secured the MAC Championship and went 12-1 as a senior last season. His younger brother, Ben Szuba joins the team entering his freshman year.
