Sun Devil Outlook
No. 12 Arizona State (18-12)
  • The Sand Devils went 1-3 over the weekend at the Center of Effort Challenge in San Luis Obispo, California, facing off against four teams ranked in the NCAA Top 10. After falling to No. 1 TCU, No. 2 UCLA, and No. 4 LMU, ASU got a final chance to pick up a ranked win against No. 7 Florida State in the last match of the weekend. The Sun Devils took care of business, taking the dual 3-2.
  • The win over No. 7 FSU was the first top-10 win for ASU this season and third under head coach Kristen Glattfelder. With their 1-3 weekend at the COE Challenge, the Sun Devils record this season against ranked opponents is now 7-12.
  • Sophomore Ava Williamson picked up her team-leading 20th win of the season over the weekend. The sophomore is 10th for career individual wins at ASU with a 44-17 record.
  • Junior Ava Kirunchyk and sophomore Ava Williamson's winning streak came to an end at 10 over the weekend, which is the second-longest winning streak for a pair in Sun Devil history.

Opponent Outlook
UTEP (11-14)
  • The Miners went 1-3 over the weekend at the Capri Classic. The team has played four ranked teams so far this season and lost to all of them.
  • The Sun Devils are 2-0 against UTEP all-time. The two teams faced off earlier this season at the ASU/GCU Invitational, and ASU took the dual 5-0.
Benedictine University at Mesa (9-15)
  • Benedictine dropped a GSAC dual over the weekend against Ottawa 5-0. The loss followed a 5-0 win over Mesa Community College last week.
  • The Redhawks were 4-11 last season, and went 0-3 at the NAIA West Coast Tournament to end their season.
  • The Sand Devils and the Redhawks have only faced off once, in 2022, and the Sun Devils took the dual 5-0.
