The only former Pac-12 team that Arizona State faces just once is Utah, as the Sun Devils only travel to Salt Lake City this year. Bobby Hurley looks to continue his recent run of success against the Utes, as ASU has won seven of the past nine matchups. That includes a regular season series sweep of Utah last year.

Last Time Out
Arizona State dropped a high scoring affair to No. 25 BYU (20-8, 11-6), 91-81. The Sun Devils were in a tight rotation down guard Alston Mason and forward Jayden Quaintance. However, freshman Trevor Best stepped up to fill the absences. The freshman finished the night with 18 points on 5-of-6 shooting, while connecting on 6-of-6 from the line.
Three other Sun Devils finished the night in double digits, with Basheer Jihad asserting dominance in the paint. Jihad finished with a team-high 19 points while cleaning the glass for four boards. Joson Sanon continues to find his form returning from injury, racking up 18 points and dishing out four assists. Adam Miller missed the majority of the game due to an injury that occurred in the first half, but toughed it out in the second half to finish the night with 11 points, connecting on 3-of-4 from beyond the arc.
Defending Demin
Potential lottery pick, Egor Demin, who averages 10.9 ppg was held to only two points on the night on 1-of-5 shooting. On top of that, the Sun Devils managed to force four turnovers out of the guard. In their last matchup on Dec. 31, ASU held the future NBA guard to only four points as well.

Freshman Trevor Best scored his career-collegiate points as a Sun Devil, finishing the night with 18 points on 5-of-8 shooting. Trevor Best was also very efficient from the free throw line, connecting on 6-of-6 from the line.

Arizona State (13-15, 4-12) returns to a place where they have enjoyed recent success, winning four of their last five road matchups with Utah (15-13, 7-10). This is the final regular season game outside of the state of Arizona, as ASU will finish up with a road game in Tucson (March 4) and a home contest with Texas Tech (March 8).
The only former Pac-12 team that Arizona State faces just once is Utah, as the Sun Devils only travel to Salt Lake City this year. Bobby Hurley looks to continue his recent run of success against the Utes, as ASU has won seven of the past nine matchups. That includes a regular season series sweep of Utah last year.
Success in Salt Lake
Arizona State has won four of their past five road contests against Utah, including a 85-77 win last year. Prior to the 4-1 record in the past five games, the Sun Devils were 5-19 in Salt Lake City.

Last Time Out
Arizona State dropped a high scoring affair to No. 25 BYU (20-8, 11-6), 91-81. The Sun Devils were in a tight rotation down guard Alston Mason and forward Jayden Quaintance. However, freshman Trevor Best stepped up to fill the absences. The freshman finished the night with 18 points on 5-of-6 shooting, while connecting on 6-of-6 from the line.
Three other Sun Devils finished the night in double digits, with Basheer Jihad asserting dominance in the paint. Jihad finished with a team-high 19 points while cleaning the glass for four boards. Joson Sanon continues to find his form returning from injury, racking up 18 points and dishing out four assists. Adam Miller missed the majority of the game due to an injury that occurred in the first half, but toughed it out in the second half to finish the night with 11 points, connecting on 3-of-4 from beyond the arc.
Defending Demin
Potential lottery pick, Egor Demin, who averages 10.9 ppg was held to only two points on the night on 1-of-5 shooting. On top of that, the Sun Devils managed to force four turnovers out of the guard. In their last matchup on Dec. 31, ASU held the future NBA guard to only four points as well.
Displaying his Best
Freshman Trevor Best scored his career-collegiate points as a Sun Devil, finishing the night with 18 points on 5-of-8 shooting. Trevor Best was also very efficient from the free throw line, connecting on 6-of-6 from the line.
On the Line
Arizona State finished with 26 free throw attempts in the game against BYU. It is the 13th time they have shot 20+ free throws and 10th time they have gone over 25 free throw attempts. It is their fifth conference game with 25 or more chances from the line.

Milestone Complete
Hurley earned the 200th win in his head coaching career between Arizona State and Buffalo in his 12th season at the Division I level when ASU defeated Grand Canyon (now at 210). 168 of those wins have come with Sun Devil Men's Basketball. Hurley also earned his 150th career win when ASU beat Grand Canyon back in 2021.

Coach Hurley has notched 168 wins at Arizona State and has done it while scheduling aggressively and not being afraid to play on the road. He has won 105 games in Arizona, but also has won at least five games in California (16), Nevada (13), Oregon (six) and Washington (five). The 11-game schedule featured seven contests away from home and four at Desert Financial Arena in addition to the exhibition matchup with Duke prior to the season on Oct. 27.
