Bob Bowman, CSCAA Men's Swim Coach of the Year
Bowman was named the CSCAA Coach of the Year for the first time in his career as he's previously been named Pac-12 Coach of the Year (2017) and Big Ten Coach of the Year (2007 and 2008) when he was the head coach of Michigan.

Got to shadow @coach_bowman and Michael in the year leading up to the 2004 Olympics. Iconoclast as a young coach, can't imagine the science and mindset his people are getting to apply these days. https://t.co/Wc0L1LSoCy

Bowman led the Sun Devils to their first-ever NCAA Championship after winning the Pac-12 championship in each of the last two seasons. En route to their first NCAA championship, the Sun Devils won seven events, including the program's first-ever relay event titles (400 medley relay and 400 free relay) as well as the 1650 free (Zalan Sarkany) and 200 fly (Ilya Kharun).
Throughout the 2023-24 season, the Sun Devil men won nine meets throughout the season, including wins over No. 4 NC State, No. 5 Stanford and No. 7 Georgia. The Sun Devils took down Arizona in their final dual meet of the season and competed in the greatest dual meet in history as they tied eventual runner-up Cal.
Bowman, mentor of the world's most decorated Olympian Michael Phelps is coming off his ninth season as the head coach of the Sun Devils. He also coached the U.S. men's team at the World Aquatic Championships in Fukuoka, Japan in July 2023 and was the head coach of the men's 2016 Olympic team.
Léon Marchand, CSCAA Men's Swimmer of the Year
At the past week's NCAA Championships, Marchand won three individual titles in the 500 free (4:02.31), 400 IM (3:32.12) and 200 breast (1:46.35). He was additionally a part of the 400 medley relay (2:57.32) and 400 free relay (2:43.40) that won NCAA titles, the first two NCAA championships ever won by the Sun Devils in relays. His eight career individual NCAA titles are the most by any Sun Devil in history.
After taking First-Team honors in seven events, he was also one of 14 Sun Devil men to earn All-American honors at the NCAA Championships.

In addition to being an NCAA champion in the 500 free and 200 breast, Marchand broke NCAA records in both events. His 400 medley relay and 400 free relay each broke a pair of NCAA records to add on to a historic week for the Sun Devils.
In addition to being a part of four broken records, Marchand also broke school records in the 100 free (40.28) and 200 free (1:28.87) during his time in Indianapolis. He was a part of the 800 free relay (6:04.95) that broke the school record on the first night that took second.
Marchand has shown extraordinary versatility all season as he's a part of 11 school records. Marchand is truly in a league of his own as he won all of the individual events he competed in throughout the season dating back to the first meet of the season in late September against Georgia.
At the Pac-12 Championships in early March, he won the 500 free, 400 IM, 200 breast, 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay, 400 free relay and 800 free relay to help the Sun Devils repeat as the conference champions. Now a perfect 9-for-9 in individual events at Pac-12s, he was named the Swimmer of the Meet for the third straight year.
The legend of Marchand seemingly grows each time he steps on the blocks, as he was the storyline from an action-packed NCAA Men's Championships.
