TUCSON, Ariz.- What better way to cap off the regular season for No. 1/21 Sun Devil Swim and Dive?
 
Both the Sun Devil men and Sun Devil men combined for 23 event wins as both programs picked up big wins against in-state rival No. 23/NR Arizona to complete the regular season.

SUN DEVIL NOTABLES
  • Charli Brown led the way for the Sun Devil women as she won all three individual events she swam (100 back, 200 back and 200 IM).
  • The Sun Devil men swept all of the swimming events in today's victory over the Wildcats. Jack Dolan (50 free and 100 free), David Schlicht (100 breast and 200 breast), Julian Hill (500 free and 200 free), Léon Marchand (100 fly and 200 fly) and Owen McDonald (200 back and 200 IM) each won multiple events for the Sun Devil men.
  • Lindsay Looney swept the butterfly events as she went undefeated in the 200 fly this season in dual meets. She additionally has swept the butterfly events in four meets this season.
  • Deniz Ertan swept both distance events for the Sun Devil women as she won the 1000 free for the seventh time this season.

Women's 200 Yard Medley Relay
The relay of Marty-Summar-Maluka-Milligan took second place with a time of 1:37.75 to get things started for the Sun Devil women.
 
Men's 200 Yard Relay
The Sun Devil men went 1-2 to claim the first two spots with the relay of Kós-Heaphy-Kharun-Peel winning the event with a 1:23.47 and the squad of Dolan-Marchand-Colson-Kulow in second with a 1:23.72 finish.
 
Women's 1000 Yard Freestyle
It was another 1-2 finish for Deniz Ertan and Alexa Reyna. Ertan won the event with a time of 9:42.34 and Reyna finished in second with a 9:51.79.
 
Men's 1000 Yard Freestyle
Sarkany continues to dominate in this event as he won the event for the fourth meet in a row with a time of 8:39.89. Reece Grady was second with a 9:05.26
 
Women's 200 Yard Freestyle
Maluka took second with a time of 1:45.08 with Molly Batchelor and Elli Straume rounding out the top five.
 
Men's 200 Yard Freestyle
Julian Hill won this event for the Sun Devil men with a 1:33.58 finish and Owen McDonald took third with a time of 1:35.00.
 
Women's 100 Yard Backstroke
Charli Brown won this event with a time of 53.09 and Marty was second with a 53.31. Clayson rounded out the top four with a time of 54.86.
 
Men's 100 Yard Backstroke
The Sun Devils swept the 100 back events as Jack Wadsworth won this event with a time of 47.47 with Quinlan Gould rounding out the top four.
 
Women's 100 Yard Breaststroke
Summar and Emma Gehlert finished in the top three for the Sun Devils. Summar swam a second-place finish time of 1:00.78 and Gehlert just behind in third with a time of 1:00.89.
 
Men's 100 Yard Breaststroke
David Schlicht won the fifth event of the meet for the Sun Devil men with a time of 52.83. Just behind him was Andy Dobrzanski with a time of 52.86 and John Heaphy in third with a 53.27.
 
Women's 200 Yard Butterfly
It was another 1-2 finish for Lindsay Looney and Jade Foelske. Looney won this event to remain undefeated in this event in duals with a time of 1:53.44 with Foelske taking the second spot with a time of 1:57.82.
 
Men's 200 Yard Butterfly
Marchand won his first individual event of the day with a 1:39.62 finish with Colson in second with a time of 1:42.69.
 
Women's 50 Yard Freestyle
Milligan took second with a time of 22.54 and Armon rounded out the top five with a time of 23.06.
 
Men's 50 Yard Freestyle
Dolan won this event in his final dual meet with a time of 19.23. Kulow, Kharun and Peel claimed each of the remaining top four spots.
 
Women's 100 Yard Freestyle
The Sun Devil women took the second and third spots in this event as Maluka took second with a 49.17 and Milligan in third with a 49.22.
 
Men's 100 Yard Freestyle
Dolan won his second event of the day with a time of 42.17 with Kharun within .01 with a time of 42.18 to claim second.
 
Women's 200 Yard Backstroke
Brown won her second event of the day and swept the back events as she swam a 1:55.57. Hana Edwards took second with a time of 1:58.12.
 
Men's 200 Yard Backstroke
Owen McDonald won this event to keep the momentum with a time of 1:43.13 and Wadsworth took second with a time of 1:45.46.
 
Women's 200 Yard Breaststroke
The Sun Devil women took the top four spots with Emma Gehlert winning the event with a 2:10.11. Summar was second with a 2:12.28, Vaishnani in third with a 2:13.95 finish and McMahon in fourth with a time of 2:14.08.
 
Men's 200 Yard Breaststroke
The top three spots went to the Sun Devils in this event with Schlicht winning the event with a time of 1:54.05, Martter in second with a time of 1:56.81 and Dobrzanski in third with a 1:57.27.
 
Women's 500 Yard Freestyle
The Sun Devils sweeped the podium as Ertan won her second event of the day with Reyna and Straume taking the second and third place spots.
 
Men's 500 Yard Freestyle
Sweeping the podium was the theme in this event as Hill won his second event of the day with a time of 4:23.40 with Grady taking second with a time of 4:26.27 and Matheson in third with a 4:27.31.
 
Women's 100 Yard Butterfly
Looney wins her second event of the day and sweeps the fly events with a time of 53.27. Her teammate Foelske was third with a time of 53.88 and Marty rounded out the top four with a time of 53.95.
 
Men's 100 Yard Butterfly
Marchand won his second individual event of the afternoon, swimming a 44.67. Kós, Colson and Senc-Samardzic claimed the rest of the top four spots.
 
Women's 200 Yard IM
Brown won her third event of the day with a time of 1:58.18 with Summar and McMahon rounding out the top three.
 
Men's 200 Yard IM
Owen McDonald won his second event of the day with a time of 1:44.92 with Martter in second with a 1:47.57.
 
Women's 400 Yard Freestyle Relay
The relay of Milligan-Maluka-Looney-Straume wins the final event of the Sun Devil women with a time of 3:16.21. To round out the top three, the relay of Armon-Batchelor-Lovberg-Foelske was third with a time of 3:18.46.
 
Men's 400 Yard Freestyle Relay
The Sun Devil took the top two spots in the final event of the day with Kulow-Kharun-Behar-Dolan winning the event with a time of 2:48.20. Claiming the second placf finish was the relay of Marchand-Sammon-Peel-Kharun with a time of 2:49.02.
 
 
Diving Results
In the women's 1-meter, Kayden Hayes was second with a score of 267.98 and Amayah Wiley was third with a 256.80. Lane Stallworth was second in the men's 1-meter with a score of 332.03 with Zachory Lundgren and Thomas Wesche rounding out the top five.
 
Hayes took second in the 3-meter with Wiley finishing third and Ashlyn Kirsch and Vera Brewer round out the top five. In the men's 3-meter, Lundgren was third with a score of 344.40 with Wesche and Caleb Liban rounding out the top five.
 
 
Up Next
Attention will now turn to the postseason for the Sun Devils. Women's swim and both dive programs will travel to Federal Way, Washington from February 28 through March 2 for the Pac-12 Championships. The following week, March 6 through March 9, men's swim will compete in Federal Way at the Pac-12 Championships.
