TEMPE, Ariz. – What a year it's been for rising Sun Devil sophomore Jayden Davis.
He's an NCAA champion, a conference champion and now, a medalist at the World Championships. Davis, a local product from Gilbert, Arizona, added to his growing resume with a silver medal in the Men's 400m final (46.08) at the U20 World Athletics Championships on Thursday evening in Lima, Peru.
After posting the top times in each of the past two days, Team USA's Davis was runner-up in the final to South Africa's Udeme Okon (45.69). He was joined by fellow American Sidi Njie (46.29/3rd) on the podium at Estadio Atletico de la Videna in Lima.
