ATHENS, Ga.- On Day 3 of the Women's NCAA Swim and Dive Championships, the squad of Charli Brown, Emma Gehlert, Lindsay Looney and Erin Milligan competed in the 400 medley relay for the Sun Devil women.

Brown, Gehlert, Looney and Milligan represented the Sun Devils in the relay swimming 3:32.87, the third fastest time in program history. The foursome took 19th place on the third day of competition in Athens.
LINDSAY LOONEY RECEIVES NCAA ELITE 90 AWARD
Announced by the NCAA this evening prior to the start of todays's finals at the Women's NCAA Swim and Dive Championships, Looney was named a recipient of the Elite 90 award of women's swim and dive for 2023-24.
The Elite 90, an award founded by the NCAA, recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the national championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers.

MORNING PRELIMS
Three Sun Devils competed in the morning prelims of the 400 IM, 200 free and 100 breast. Brown competed in the 400 IM, swimming a time of 4:10.75, the eighth-fastest time in school history. In the 200 free, Ieva Maluka competed for the Sun Devils, swimming a time of 1:44.77. Zoe Summar competed in the 100 breast as she touched the wall with a 1:00.95.

The finals for the four events, plus the 400 free relay and the 1650 free, will begin at 3 p.m. MST. In addition to the Sun Devils having a group compete in the 400 free relay, Deniz Ertan and Alexa Reyna will compete in the 1650 free.
